The local suppliers of this TVA power are Lewisburg Electric System for residents of the City of Lewisburg and Duck River Membership Corporation for Marshall County residents. The Lewisburg Gas Department supplies industries and residences in the City of Lewisburg with natural gas. Propane gas is available through private corporations for those who do not have access to natural gas. The Lewisburg Water and Wastewater Department supplies purified water from the Duck River to Lewisburg and Cornersville. They also have a wastewater system for the City of Lewisburg. Solid waste is delivered to a landfill managed by Waste Management. The Marshall County Board of Public Utilities supplies water to areas outside the city limits of Lewisburg.
