This is very responsible technical and administrative work providing assistance to a variety of human resource related activities for Marshall County Government.  Activities associated with job include database management, coordination of recruitment and selection processes for vacant positions, state and federal employment law compliance, composing correspondence and memoranda, preparing reports and related documents, and assisting employees.   Job related duties require considerable knowledge of human resources regulations, laws, functions and practices, and knowledge of employment related statutes including EEOC, OSHA, FLSA, ADA, FMLA, HIPAA and Workers’ Compensation. Strong organizational, interpersonal, and decision-making skills, along with dedicated attention to detail is necessary. 
Necessary Requirements of Work
Graduation from an accredited four-year high school (Associate’s Degree preferred) supplemented with additional course work in business administration, personnel management or closely related field; and experience working in human resources.
